Craft & Culture is a UAE-based fine wine business connecting global wine supply with private collectors and trade clients across the Middle East.

We operate our own bonded, temperature-controlled fine wine warehouse at RAK Port and provide the infrastructure required to buy, move, store and sell fine wine across the region. Alongside our physical operations, C&C Index gives our team and our clients access to our growing network of fine wine inventory, pricing and purchasing opportunities.

The warehouse is the centre of all of it. Every bottle we buy, store and sell passes through it, and the accuracy of what happens on the floor is what the rest of the business runs on.

The Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented Warehouse Operator to take ownership of our day-to-day warehouse operations — receiving, put-away, picking, packing and dispatch — ensuring every bottle is stored, tracked and handled with the care it deserves.

This is not a traditional warehouse role. You will work scanner-in-hand on C&C Index, our own warehouse and inventory platform, and what you record on the floor is what the whole business reads. Accuracy here is not paperwork; it is what lets us sell with confidence.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch of wine and spirits inventory
• Operate electric pallet stacker, forklift, and other picking equipment safely and efficiently; training provided if required
• Maintain temperature-controlled storage environment (12-16°C) and monitor IoT temperature logging systems to ensure cold chain integrity
• Operate and maintain Zoho Inventory management system—processing inbound shipments, updating stock levels, and generating reports
• Conduct regular inventory counts and reconciliations, ensuring system accuracy matches physical stock
• Apply barcode and RFID labels to incoming stock, maintaining full product traceability
• Inspect incoming shipments for damage, temperature excursions, and documentation accuracy
• Prepare customs documentation, certificates of origin, and compliance paperwork for imports
• Coordinate with freight forwarders and delivery partners for inbound and outbound logistics
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness, organization, and safety standards
• Troubleshoot and escalate issues with refrigeration, sensors, or inventory discrepancies
• Perform general maintenance on cold room AC units—filter cleaning, temperature calibration checks, and liaising with technicians for repairs
• Support warehouse scaling initiatives—optimising storage layouts, implementing new racking systems, and improving operational workflows
• Prepare orders for B2B and B2C customers with attention to packaging and presentation
• Generate cold chain documentation and temperature reports for clients as required
• Contribute ideas for process improvements and help implement efficiency gains as the operation grows

Requirements

• Experience: 2+ years in warehouse operations, logistics, or inventory management
• Education: High school diploma minimum; diploma in logistics, supply chain, or related field preferred
• Technical Skills: Proficient with inventory management software and comfortable learning new digital tools
• Language: Fluent English; Arabic is a plus
• License: Valid UAE driving license preferred
• Attention to Detail: Meticulous approach to inventory accuracy and documentation
• Problem Solver: Proactive in identifying and resolving operational issues

Physical & Fitness Requirements

This role involves significant manual handling in a temperature-controlled environment (12-16°C). Candidates must be physically capable and comfortable working in cool conditions for extended periods.

• Manual Handling: Ability to safely lift, carry, and manoeuvre wine cases weighing up to 20kg repeatedly throughout the shift
• Stamina: Capable of standing, walking, bending, and reaching for 8+ hours per day
• Cold Environment: Comfortable working in a chilled warehouse (12-16°C) with appropriate PPE provided
• Pallet Work: Loading and unloading pallets, stacking cases at varying heights (floor level to 2m)
• Repetitive Tasks: Ability to perform repetitive picking, packing, and labelling tasks with consistent accuracy
• Safe Lifting Technique: Knowledge of proper manual handling techniques to prevent injury; training provided
• Team Lifting: Willingness to coordinate with colleagues for heavier or awkward loads (magnums, wooden cases)
• General Fitness: Good overall physical health with no conditions that would be aggravated by manual work or cold environments
